Basis Administrator
POSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Information Technology
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some overtime and weekends may be required.
WAGES: Salary. Commensurate with skills and experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Transport management
• Apply support packages and patches
• Perform periodic system refreshes of QA systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues of SAP Systems and Oracle databases
• Solution manager: CUA, MOPZ, CCMS monitoring
• Drive performance monitoring and tuning across the SAP landscape
• Assist in the implementation of archiving
• Other related duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator
• Stable employment history
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in production support of ECC 6.0, CRM 7.0, BW 7.0, and Solution Manager systems
• Experience with archiving and performance tuning, including identifying and implementing indexes, etc.
• Proficiency in utilizing and searching the SAP Service Marketplace (OSS) to retrieve and apply support packages and SAP Notes
• Experience with Windows Server 2008 and Oracle Database systems
• Experience refreshing ECC systems integrated with CRM/BI as well as non-SAP systems
• Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment
PREFERRED
• Practical experience interfacing with third party technologies such as Vertex, Onbase, Groupware or Zytax a plus
