Fuel Technician
POSITION REPORTS TO: Terminal Manager
SCHEDULE: TBD. Flexible work schedule. Must be able to work nights, early, stay late and/or work on weekends
WAGES: Commensurate with experience and skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Follow Sun Coast and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• Operate pumps, move hoses, unload equipment and product, clean and keep cabs of trucks free of clutter, and other related duties to assist drivers
• Help maintain the exterior of the truck, and report any problems or issues with keeping it cleanor of the truck, and report any problems or issues with keeping it clean
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Locals only please. Must live within 60 miles of terminal
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, no DWI or DUI convictions in the past 10 years and no license suspensions within the past 3 years
• Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience working with pumps
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and communicate using the English language sufficiently enough to perform the job functions
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Good basic math skills
• Flexible work schedule. Must be able to work nights, early, stay late and/or work on weekends
• Must be able to work between 12 to 18 hours per day in extreme weather conditions if necessary
• Overnight or out of town travel may be required
PREFERRED
• Experience working on a frac site with similar responsibilities
• Experience in the fuel transportation industry
