TITLE: Administrative Assistant – Lube Department (Requisition 17000158)

LOCATION: Houston

POSITION REPORTS TO:  Warehouse Operations Manager

SCHEDULE:  Night Position- Monday through Friday.  Some overtime and weekends may be required.

WAGES:  Commensurate with skills and experience

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive products into inventory using a handheld scanner and verify product against shipping documents
  • Process inventory transactions within SAP 
  • Data entry (SAP & Excel)
  • Daily stock verification
  • Research, communicate, and resolve issues
  • Communicate with other company locations regarding product shipments
  • Organize and scan paperwork
  • Print product labels
  • Create and invoice lube sales and inventory transfer orders

·         Maintain inventory control and the processing of orders

·         Assist with month-end inventory cycle count

  • Answer phones and respond to emails
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 1 year prior administrative experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook programs
  • Eagerness to learn and become involved in the daily operations of the company

·         Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Must be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environment

·         Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines

  • Flexibility to come in early or stay late when necessary
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, steel toe boots and a hard hat
  • Stable employment history

 

PREFERRED

·         SAP Experience

·         Experience in the fuel transportation industry
